One day 1 day Mount Meru hiking Packages

Our one-day meru hike package is designed for guests who have limited time and have no interests of reaching the summit of the second highest Mountain in Tanzania. Tourists will get lucky to learn about people living in the up-side of the mountain while viewing the breathtaking greenery and some animals. It starts from Tengeru Cultural Center 12km's from Arusha Town in the slopes of the mountain. Mount Meru one day trekking last for seven hours where hikers will cover 18kms going up and down.

Hiking and camping on the slopes or visiting the ash cone in the much lower crater is an activity that is highly recommended. One will be amazed by the amount of wildlife found on this mountain the vegetation is stunning all the way, and Meru simply isn't as overrun as Kilimanjaro is.For people who are doing walking safaris on the lower slopes or in other areas of Arusha National Park there are several campgrounds. You will end your hiking in style by taking your well-earned rest in one of the luxurious lodges just outside of Arusha National Park.

    The price for a 3 day Meru climb is USD 950 Per Person and the price for a 4 day Meru climb is USD 1050 per person. You can climb Mount Meru all year round and you can pick and choose your own travel dates but we recommend you avoid the rainy season.
